I'd guess it dates to the 60s or 70s and believe that it is bronze

with little tears at the corners

and indeed I'd love to build a whole dressing room around it

I can find no other set or even documentation of these out there, though I did turn up a couple other examples of blocks produced by Tri ang under the "Teachem Toys" name. Quite beautifully made,
